LADY FINGER (Kacang Bendi)

This maybe a good remedy to reduce the intake of diabetic medicine. Lady finger helps to reduce the sugar level in your body, this remedy is usefull for diabetic patients. It may not get rid of your diebetes but at least it will help you to control the sugar level in your body.

Take two pieces of Lady Finger (Bendi) and remove/cut both ends of eachpiece. Also put a small cut in the middle and put these two pieces inglass of water. Cover the glass and keep it at room temperature duringnight. Early morning, before breakfast simply remove two pieces of ladyfinger (bendi) from the glass and drink that water.

Keep doing it on daily basis. Within two weeks, you will see remarkable results in reduction of your SUGAR.

LOVE YOUR HEART : WALK-A-MILE 2008

On the 19/Oct/2008 (sunday) Kelab TM had participated in the WALK-A-MILE campaign organised by Sarawak Heart Foundation which was held at the MBKS ground in Kuching. This campaign has been held yearly inconjunction with World Heart Day. The event emphasized the public to be aware of the importance of health. Through daily routine of exercising or brisk walking can help to keep our hearts healthy.

Here's our group photo taken before the main event starts.

The opening was officiated by Y.Bhg.Dato Hajah Jamilah Adenan
from Sarawak Heart Foundation.

Our Kelab TM members amongst the crowd during the opening speech by Dato Hajah Jamilah.

Picture collage above was taken during the flag off of the Walk-A-Mile at MBKS ground. Snap shots of our Kelab TM members taking the brisk walk in the morning. The event started at 7.15 am.

And to burn some more callories we also did line dancing and poco-poco after the Walk-A-Mile.

En. Ibrahim (UTES President) and wife (Zaliha) walked on the foot reflexology path. When you walked on the stoney path, it helps to promote blood circulation in your body.

Our lucky draw winners. Hasnah Aminah and Chong Moi Fung with their hampers sponsored by Nestle.

Almost at the end of the event, another group photo had been taken for remembrance.
Hopefully next year we'll have more Kelab TM members and Staff of TM and
officials to participate in this worthy event.
I would like to thank those whom had participated in this campaign, they are:
Mohamad Ibrahim Hamid, Zaliha Hj. Moh, Roslan Tajudin, Hasnah Aminah Ahmad, Mohamad Alihan Jais, Aishah Poli & family, Nancy Hj. Mohamed, Norainie Busrah, Norma Hamdan, Chang Swee Fah & family, Amy Chen Chew Yen, Chong Moi Fung & family, Kamalia Buang & Nahriah Hj. Junaidi & family.

IS IT A STROKE?

Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke. Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:

1. Ask the individual to smile.

2. Ask him or her to raise both arms.

3. Ask the person to speak a simple sentence. Ask the person to stick out his/her tongue...if their tongue is NOT 'straight' but goes off to one side, that is another indication of a stroke.

If he or she has trouble with any of these tasks, call 999 immediately. Widespread use of this test could result in prompt diagnosis and treatment of the stroke can prevent brain damage. You can bet that at least one life will be saved.
