LADY FINGER (Kacang Bendi)

This maybe a good remedy to reduce the intake of diabetic medicine. Lady finger helps to reduce the sugar level in your body, this remedy is usefull for diabetic patients. It may not get rid of your diebetes but at least it will help you to control the sugar level in your body.

Take two pieces of Lady Finger (Bendi) and remove/cut both ends of eachpiece. Also put a small cut in the middle and put these two pieces inglass of water. Cover the glass and keep it at room temperature duringnight. Early morning, before breakfast simply remove two pieces of ladyfinger (bendi) from the glass and drink that water.

Keep doing it on daily basis. Within two weeks, you will see remarkable results in reduction of your SUGAR.

TIPS ON CHEAPER WAY TO KLIA

Do you know that you can travel from KL Sentral to KLIA for as low as RM12.50 instead of the normal fare of RM35.00? Can't blame you for not believing that this is possible. A closer examination on the ERL fare structure using the link below will reveal the following weakness

> Sentral(1) --> Bdr. Tasik Selatan(2) RM 4.20
> Sentral(1) --> Putrajaya(3) RM 9.50
> Sentral(1) --> Salak Tinggi(4) RM 12.50
> Sentral(1) --> KLIA(5) RM 35.00
But,

Bdr. Tasik Selatan --> Putrajaya RM5.30
Putrajaya - -> KLIA RM6.20

So to save money on fares

1.) Either take the ERL to Putrajaya for RM9.50. Get down and buy another ticket from Putrajaya to KLIA for RM6.20. Total cost works out to RM15.70 instead of RM35.00 The inconvenience is having to wait for the next train for about 15 mins(peak) or 20 mins(non-peak).
But the substantial saving of RM19.30 per person may be worthwhile.

Or

2.) Take the Komuter to Bdr. Tasik Selatan for only RM1.00. From here take the ERL to Putrajaya for RM5.30. Get down and buy another ERL ticket to KLIA for RM6.20. The total costs add up to only RM12.50 instead of RM35.00.

This option is cheaper by RM3.20 but the additional hassle may not be worth the additional saving. ERL is banking on the fact that despite this apparent weakness in the fare structure, nobody will take advantage of it mainly because everybody is in such a hurry nowadays!
But then who knows, with escalating prices, more people may take advantage of this in future.

But still nothing can compare to RM8.00 from KL Sentral to LCCT terminal (if you're travelling via AirAsia) but time consuming though.

IS IT A STROKE?

Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke. Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:

1. Ask the individual to smile.

2. Ask him or her to raise both arms.

3. Ask the person to speak a simple sentence. Ask the person to stick out his/her tongue...if their tongue is NOT 'straight' but goes off to one side, that is another indication of a stroke.

If he or she has trouble with any of these tasks, call 999 immediately. Widespread use of this test could result in prompt diagnosis and treatment of the stroke can prevent brain damage. You can bet that at least one life will be saved.

KRITERIA KELAYAKAN PENDERMA DARAH

CELLPHONE TIPS

There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies. Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival.

Have you ever wondered what 112 is for.......so here's the fact.....
If u find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile; network & there is an emergency, dial 112 & the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for u & interestingly, this number, 112, can be dialled even if the keypad is locked. Try it out.

Have u locked your keys in the car?Does your car have remote keyless entry?
This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If u lock your keys in the car & the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their mobile phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door & have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to u. Distance is no object. U could be hundreds of miles away & if u can reach someone who has the other 'remote' for your car, u can unlock the doors (or the trunk). Editor's Note: It works fine! We tried it out & it unlocked our car over a mobile phone!'

Hidden Battery Power Imagine your mobile battery is very low.
To activate, press the keys *3370#. Your mobile will restart with this reserve & the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when u charge your mobile next time.

How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?
To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on your phone *#06#. A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is the IMEI Number & is unique to your handset. Write it down & keep it somewhere safe. When your phone get stolen, u can phone your service provider & give them this code. They'll then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. u probably won't get your phone back but at least u know that whoever stole it can't use it/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

A NEEDLE CAN SAVE THE LIFE (STROKE)

Never know who or when it may be needed ... A NEEDLE CAN SAVE THE LIFE OF A STROKE PATIENT (Taken from a Chinese Physician) - Keep a syringe or needle in your home to do this... It's amazing and an unconventional way of recovering from stroke, read it through it can help somebody one day. This is amazing. This method may come in very handy one day....
When stroke strikes, the capillaries in the brain will gradually burst. When a stroke occurs, stay calm. No matter where the victim is, do not move him/her. Because, if moved, the capillaries will burst. Help the victim to sit up where he is to prevent him from falling over again, and then the bloodletting can begin. If you have in your home an injection syringe that would be the best, otherwise, a sewing needle or a straight pin will do.

1.) Place the needle/pin over fire to sterilize it, and then use it to prick the tip of all 10 fingers.

2.) There are no specific acupuncture points, just prick about a mm from the fingernail.

3.) Prick till blood comes out.

4.) If blood does not start to drip, then squeeze with your fingers.

5.) When all 10 finger tips are bleeding, wait a few minutes then the victim will regain consciousness.

6.) If the victim's mouth is crooked, then pull on his ears until they are red.

7.) Then prick each ear lobe twice until two drops of blood comes out from each ear lobe.
After a few minutes the victim should regain consciousness. Wait till the victim regain his normal state without any abnormal symptoms then take him to the hospital, otherwise, if he was taken in the ambulance in a hurry to the hospital, the bumpy trip will cause all the capillaries in his brain to burst.

Blood Donation Drive - 21 Aug 2008

Inconjunction with the Merdeka month on the 21 Aug 2008, Kelab TM (Kuching Branch) had organised another blood donation drive, this time the venue is at Were Road. Kelab is considering to have this event on every 3 months period. 30 TM staffs came to register but only 22 succeeded to donate. We hoped that more kelab TM members will come forward and donate. 1 pint of blood can save 3 lifes. From the look of it, you think it hurts a lot, but in actual fact (coming from a donor like me) IT DOESN'T HURT at all. Actually you feel really good.
